This is a Premier Large HSE Childcare First Aid Kit in a premier box edition, made with recommendations from childcare specialists, HSE, and the UK government. This is designed for parents and childcare professionals to treat all common injuries and accidents.

What type of child first aid kit do you need to protect the children you’re responsible for? We designed our kit using guidance from HSE, the UK government, and childcare specialists. HSE strongly recommends schools supply first aid provisions for pupils in addition to the workplace first aid kits they are legally required to provide. The UK government advises, “first aid provision must be available while people are on school or college premises. It must also be available when staff, pupils and students are working elsewhere on school or college activities including any off-site activity such as educational visits.

How many kits do you need?

You must be able to reach a kit within 60 seconds. If your staff are split over more than one floor, you must have at least one kit per floor. First aid kits should be positioned where people see them every day so that people will remember where to find them in the event of an emergency.
