COURSE OVERVIEW
Green Box first aid courses for Dentists consist of our 3 hour Basic Life Support (BLS) for Dental Practitioners and Immediate Life Support (ILS) for Dental Practitioners.
These courses concentrate on basic & immediate life support skills and includes skills for adults, children and infants for dentists and people working in dental practices. Concentrating on situations that could arise in your work place, these Green Box course includes, assessing the scene and your safety, the initial assessment and the recovery position. We practice CPR, compression only CPR, CPR handover and choking with practical work. This course covers basic oxygen use in Basic Life Support. With Green Box we also include the skills of Epilepsy, Asthma and Anaphylactic reactions on this course. The ILS course expands on this and looks at medical emergencies, suction as well as Oropharyngeal, Nasopharyngeal & Supraglottic airways.

ASSESSMENT & ACCREDITATIONS
This First Aid for Dentists training courses include a practical assessment and multiple choice examination.
Successful delegates will receive a Green Box Certificate.
This course also comes with a Certified CPD statement in line with the General Dental Council guidelines and the UK Resuscitation Council standards for clinical practice and training for dental practitioners and dental care professionals in general dental practice.

Green Box First Aid Training has classroom locations for our First Aid Courses in Windsor, Slough, Bracknell, Staines upon Thames, Reading, Uxbridge, Newbury and Farnborough. These locations are where we hold our public first aid training courses. But these can also be used for private group bookings. Our public courses normally run once a month at each venue, please check our live booking system for details.
Green Box can also train you at your place of work. We specialise in in-house first aid courses. So training can be at your workplace or venue. Or we can find training facilities in a location of your choice. We have instructors across the UK and travel the length of the country so please do get in touch.
