FIRST AID FOR SCUBA DIVING

FIRST AID FOR SCUBA DIVING

COURSE OVERVIEW

Our First Aid for Scuba Diving course is an PADI Emergency First Response Course – including AED & O2 training for Scuba Divers.

This course is an introduction to first aid for scuba divers and is certified by Emergency First Response (EFR) which is PADI’s recognised first aid part of the company.  The course is split into 2 sections: Emergency First Response Primary Care which includes teaching you how to use a defibrillator; and then Emergency First Response Secondary care which is what we think of as the traditional first aid.

Both sections teach participants how to respond to real emergencies. The course uses a combination of knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice to make sure participants have the confidence in their ability to provide care when emergency situations arise. We also include practical AED and Oxygen training which will help scuba divers on PADI Rescue Diver courses along with PADI Dive Masters and PADI instructors.

Paul from Green Box is a PADI instructor, so along with teaching First Aid so he can complete your PADI Rescue Diver and PADI Dive Master Courses as well.
