TQUK LEVEL 2 AWARD IN FIRE SAFETY PRINCIPLES (RQF)
Fire Safety within the workplace is an essential legal requirement. This Fire Safety Principals Level 2 course is designed for employees who want to develop their basic fire safety awareness in order to assist their employer by undertaking more specific fire safety roles in the workplace, such as fire wardens, fire marshals or stewards, to manage the risks of fire.
This comprehensive course covers the latest fire safety regulations and the roles and duties of employees and their responsibilities on fire safety. It is designed to meet and comply with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. It covers how fires are started, methods of controlling fire spread, evacuating the building, fire briefings and risk assessing.
Those gaining this qualification will know that fire safety is the responsibility of everyone in the workplace with recognition of the contribution they may have in preventing the start and spread of fire. Successful candidates will be awarded a national level 2 qualification.

WHO’S IT FOR?
The Fire Safety Principals Level 2 is an accredited qualification aimed at anyone involved in the management of fire safety at work. This includes managers, supervisors, team leaders, fire wardens and marshals as well as staff working in an area where there is a potential risk of fire.
Please be advised that the classroom course has a minimum age requirement of 16.
