The owner of Green Box, Paul, is an avid cyclist and has ridden many miles across the UK and Europe. During that time, he has had to deal with injuries of fellow cyclists so has built this cycling specific course.
Cyclists are at an increased risk of accidents and are more likely to stop at another accident. When dealing with a cycling accident, there is also the risk of being hit by another vehicle. This course is aimed at all cyclists, whether you race or use your cycle in town. This course covers basic life support skills and the specific problems that are faced by cyclists. The course can be taught locally or at your local cycle club.
This first aid course for cyclists can be tailored to all cycling disciplines including First Aid for BMX Clubs
The course covers the issues that are likely to be found by cyclists at all levels.

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?
Cyclists who want to be able to take responsibility for themselves in the outdoor environment where you may be further away from the Emergency Medical Services than normal.

This course includes a practical assessment and multiple choice examination.
Successful delegates will receive a Green Box Certificate.

Green Box First Aid Training has classroom locations for our First Aid Courses in Windsor, Slough, Bracknell, Staines upon Thames, Reading, Uxbridge, Newbury and Farnborough. These locations are where we hold our public first aid training courses. But these can also be used for private group bookings. Our public courses normally run once a month at each venue, please check our live booking system for details.
Green Box can also train you at your place of work. We specialise in in-house first aid courses. So training can be at your workplace or venue. Or we can find training facilities in a location of your choice. We have instructors across the UK and travel the length of the country so please do get in touch.
