Blended Paediatric 12 Hour Infant / Child First Aid Level 3 (VTQ)

including AED (Defibrillator)

Course overview

We are the only company to be able to offer an alternative to the 2 days in the classroom for childminders and carers who need to complete a Paediatric First Aid Course to comply with the requirements of Ofsted, EYFS, CSSIW and SureStart. Our blended course offers a video-based online course that is completed before attending a full day in the classroom with an instructor to complete the practical part of the course. Green Box courses are approved by across the UK.

This course offers an excellent alternative for those who are simply unable to spare the time to attend 2 days in a classroom only course. When you have successfully completed both the online and classroom modules, you will be issued a ProTrainings wall certificate and wallet card.

This course is designed for people who are working with or have responsibility for children. It is a child specific first aid course and gives you the confidence and skill to help in an emergency situation and gives the organisation or employer the First Aid cover needed by law.  Our course meets the requirements set out by the Ofsted, EYFS, CSSIW and SureStart for people needing a 2 day 12 contact hour first aid course for Infant and child as well as Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF)

All our first aid courses fully meet the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2015 as per the HSE requirements. Green Boxes Vocational Training Qualifications (VTQ) are fully recognised by the HSE as Trade Body Qualifications.

The course teaches participants how to respond to real emergencies. The course uses combination of knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice to make sure participants have the confidence in their ability to provide care when emergency situations arise.
